Viagra is an oral drug that is used to cure male impotence. It works by dilating blood vessels in the penis causing more blood to rush into it during an erection or sexual stimulation.
How it is taken
Viagra is usually taken an hour or 30 minutes prior to sexual activity. However, for some males, it works best when taken an hour prior to sexual activity. For others, the ideal duration is anywhere between 1 to 4 hours. Never take two doses of Viagra within 12 hours. You may also consult your physician for exact dosage instructions.
Missed Dosage
Unlike other medications, Viagra is not to be taken regularly. Take it only prior to sexual activity. So, there are no chances of a missed dosage.
Overdose
There are no reported cases of a Viagra overdose. Some symptoms may include dizziness, headaches or a tinted vision. Extreme cases can lead to chest pains. But you should seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose
