Zebeta is used as a treatment of high blood pressure. Zebeta can be used alone or as a companion for other drugs. Also, Zebeta can be used for other medical situations,as decided by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Zebeta as directed by your doctor. Take Zebeta with or without a meal. Taking Zebeta at the same time each day will help you remember to take it. Continue to take Zebeta even if you feel well.
Take Zebeta as directed by your doctor. You can take Zebeta either after a meal or after one. You will be able to better remember your Zebeta dosage timings if you take them at the same time every day. You should continue taking Zebeta even if you feel well, until the doctor prescribes otherwise.
Missed Dose
Take a missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, do not take a double dose. Double doses can be dangerous to the human body.
Overdose
Overdosing on any medicine can be harmful and even fatal in some cases. Therefore, you should make sure that you are taking the right dosage at the right time. Some symptoms of Zebeta overdosing is difficulty in breathing, lightheadedness, seizures, short breath, swollen ankles, a slow heart rate and wheezing.
Warnings/Precautions
Make sure to inform your doctor about any medical conditions before you start taking Zebeta. If you have allergies to any kind of medicines, inform your doctor. Also, you might be allergic to some ingredients in Zebeta. Therefore, inform the doctor about any allergies that you may have, so that the doctor can check the ingredients and then prescribe the medicine to you.
If you have had medical situations like adrenal gland tumor, asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic obtrusive pulmonary disease, lung disease, narrowing of blood vessels of the legs, arms, or stomach, unusually slow heart beat, diabetes, kidney problems, thyroid problems, Zebeta may not be the best medicine for you.
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking the medicine, as it is not known whether Zebeta can cause harm to the fetus.
If you are under any diets or are having some herbal medicines, or even having any other kind of medicine, make sure that you inform your doctor and consult with him before you take the medicine. Some medicines may have an interaction with Zebeta, which may be harmful to your body. Do not take Zebeta if you are currently taking mibefradil.
Also, if you are about to receive any medical care like a surgery or a dental operation, make sure that you inform the doctor in charge that you are taking Zebeta. Zebeta should not be taken by children.
Possible Side Effects
Some of the Possible Side Effects are- Diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, headache, lightheadedness, nausea, sleeplessness, unusual tiredness, weakness. Contact your doctor if any of these or other side effects occur. If you experience any of the following serious side effects, you should seek medical attention immediately- Severe allergic reactions (rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, and tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue), chest pain, difficulty breathing, lightheadedness or dizziness when rising from a lying or sitting position, very slow heartbeat.
