Drug Uses

Cialis soft is an oral medication that helps men gain and sustain a stronger erection while performing sexual activity. It is used to cure Erectile dysfunction in men.

How it is taken

Take Cialis as recommended by your doctor. The drug comes in different dosage strengths (5mg, 10mg and 20 mg). The ideal starting dosage is 10mg only once a day. Take it half an hour before sexual activity.

The dosage may also vary depending on your medical condition with a lower dosage being prescribed for some men.

Missed Dosage

Since it is only taken when required or before sexual activity, there are hardly any chances of a missed dosage.

Overdose

You should seek medical attention immediately in case of a Cialis overdose. Standard supportive measures should be adopted. It has been noted that Hemodialysis contributes negligibly to Cialis elimination.
 

You must avoid using Cialis if you have a known history of an allergic reaction to Tadalafil.

Do not take Cialis if you are taking Nitrate based drugs like Poppers because Nitrates when combined with Cialis can cause a sudden and fatal drop in your blood pressure. A mild effect is fainting and extreme effects can be a stroke or even death if not attended to.

Please mention to your doctor/physician all medical conditions that you may be suffering from including history of heart diseases, or uncontrolled blood pressure.

Lactose tolerant people should avoid using Cialis as it has some lactose in it.

Avoid taking Cialis with grapefruit or consuming grapefruit while you are on Cialis because it enhances your chances of experiencing unwanted side effects.
 

Some of the common side effects of Cialis are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. However, these side effects usually subside after a while. You should seek medical attention if the side effects do not go away even after 48 hours or become bothersome.
