Drug Uses
Mentax is a topical antifungal cream used to treat certain fungal infections of the skin. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How it is taken
The best way to use Mentax is as recommended by your doctor.
Wash and dry the affected area completely and then gently rub in the medicine until it is spread evenly. Wash your hands after use.
Do not stop using without consulting your doctor. Continue to use Mentax for the entire length of treatment.
Drug Class & Mechanism
Mentax is a topical antifungal that kills sensitive bacteria by interfering with the formation of the fungal cell wall and weakening it.
Missed Dosage
If you miss a dose of Mentax then you may take it as soon as you remember and adjust the remaining doses accordingly. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose then you may skip this dose and continue with the regular dosage. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Storage
Store it between between 41 and 86 degrees F (5 and 30 degrees C) in an air tight container protecting it from direct exposure to light, heat and moisture. Keep away from pets and children.
